Deciduous: definition and meaning


The term deciduous in botany generally refers to the leaves that fall during the less favorable seasons which can be dry or cold seasons. In fact, we speak of "deciduous leaves" as opposed to "persistent leaves" that is to say that they do not fall with the arrival of the adverse season.
